Young Women Overnighter!

I am planning a trip to the Cabin for the weekend with my Young Women. This will be April 27th-28th. I just wanted to let everyone know, so that they could put it on their calendars and NOT be there.

Thank you,
Shelly

A Work in Progress but Always Beautiful

The blue room with the loft entrance.
If this could generate power we wouldn't need no stinking power lines! It's always going.
The new and amazing ceiling fans.
Almost done!
"The hideout" that isn't very hidden.
The kids in the ditch, and shadow puppets.
It's so beautiful at the cabin.

How many girls does it take?????

We went to the cabin a while back, we had a great time as we always do. Kimber sure knows how to build a fire.
Judy, Kimber, Tonya, and Shelly built a chair. We had some small complications like you shouldn't build something on the deck where small things like.... a small screw can fall through.

But dont you worry, we found everything we dropped.

We had a fishing pole with a magnet that we made to retrieve the lost pieces. We laughed so hard, and had so much fun..... oh yea, and the chair didn't fall apart when someone sat on it.

Another Successful Ride

Another enjoyable weekend at the cabin. Everyone seemed to have a good time and no major injuries. More work was done on the remodel of the upstairs rooms thanks to the hard work of the men (mostly), and the grounds are flourishing as much as they can in the deserts of eastern Utah.
The kids wearing themselves out hiking up the mountain.

If you look closely, the colors around the cabin are beautiful.
The view from the top of the mountain behind the cabin.
The infamous wreckage a short ways from the cabin is the basis for many tall tales including tales of murder, lost campers destined for disaster, and Half-head.
If you look closely at the speck on the rocks against the sky, that's Meghan. It's the only place she can get phone service to text her friends. Apparently the hike is worth it. She did it many times every day. Crazy teenagers.

What a wonderful place to be

The Clark family finally made it to the cabin. We had a blast
Of course there was the four wheeling

Climbing the mountain
showing and telling the kids things I use to do as a kid. I have so many wonderful memories of the cabin. This was the first time going without grandpa.... Ever. I am so grateful for having the cabin to share memories with my family.

We remembered just how wonderful it is up there, and are going to try and get there more often this summer.
